December Wedding

Last December 28, a special celebration was held. It was Nica's wedding (my co-teacher and friend).
It was a simple wedding and yet a solemn one. I was imagining myself to be in her shoes, maybe just like her i'll be the happiest woman on earth, but after a minute of dreaming, i'm back to my senses...hehe, and i told myself that maybe it will never happen to me--siguro kung meron talagang ibibigay si Lord sakin, dumating na, pero wala pa rin. But whenever i attend weddings I feel happy seeing those brides in their white gown walking down the isle.Weddings symbolizes new life, union, eternal love and happiness.

Congratulations Nica, may the start of your new life be a good one. May God give you abundant happiness, guidance and blessings. Let Him be the center of your union. God bless you both!

I would like to thank all the people who greeted me on my special day--to my colleagues, mentors, friends, best friends, new found friends, kumare-friends, present and former students, and especially to my family. Your greetings mean a lot to me. You've been there not only in times of my happiness and success but also during the tough times--when i feel like giving up, when i fail and when i'm sad, ..I became what I am now because of you all. Every one has a part in achieving my dreams.

Colors of the Sky

Sometimes when we're alone and thinking of our problems in life, we just look up in the sky as if we talking to the universe and asking help from God. And suddenly notices that it changes its color every now and then, and is so sympathetic of how we feel, seems saying that--"you will be okey, just pray". It makes us smile though we are hurting. It gives us hope and simply reminds us that  life is also colorful--that it is not just series of problems, pains, and sufferings but also has its joys and successes. It has ups and downs, maybe like a roller coaster ride but at the end of the day, we can say that life is beautiful, that God gave it to us, so enjoy it. Make it a meaningful one.
