Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) is an organization organized by the DEPED & the Science Department in every public school which aims to nurture the kids in taking care of the environment. In our school, (CRACMES) the group is composed of 50 students from Grades 4-6 headed by Ms. Maricris Doria, and me as her co-adviser.
I'm so proud that I'm a part of this organization and at the same time a moderator of "Mother Earth Kids Club" which actually have the same advocacy, "taking care of our mother earth". I so love doing these things and we hope that the kids we are nurturing will become Eco-Heroes someday.
Yesterday, September 22, 2012 (Saturday), we had another activity for YES-O. It was a clean-up activity around Barangay Damayan and near the school. It was a fun day for us especially for the children. They enjoyed and at the same time they realized the value of taking care of the environment.

Special thanks to Mother Earth Foundation (MEF) and Sir Froilan Grate for giving me the chance to contribute in your Newsletter.
