"2012: A Year to Remember"

Top 10 Unforgettable Memories of 2012

10. Reunited with Balikbayan Friends

Last March, we had the chance to bond with our former co-teacher-friend, Yolanda P. Schmidlin, who had a short vacation here. She's been living in Switzerland after she got married.

Another close friend of mine, Abigail Acebedo from Singapore who gave us a surprise visit last January. We had fun...non-stop chikahan and bonding. It's just so happy to be with her in just a short while.. #friendsawayfromhome

9.  Celebrating my Birthday
It's always been special every time I celebrate my birthday, and last year was a happy and memorable one. Thanks to everyone who made that special. #myday #wishes

8. Reminiscing the past with Jamesian friends
2012 may not be a year to grant our wish, (money matters) but at least we have lots of reunions and meetings that made us so excited and happy. It's been 10 years, it's just so happy to bond with these amazing people I became friends long time ago. #missingfriends #reunion

7. Continuing the Environmental Advocacy
Since 2010 I've been joining the advocacy of taking care of the environment with the help of MEF (Mother Earth Foundation) and our school (CRACMES). Last year, we had some environmental activities including tree planting, Damayan para sa Kalikasan project, clean-up activity and a lot more. #ecofriendly #gooddeeds

6. Going Home
Last new year I went home (Bicol) to celebrate new year with my family. I can't describe the happiness my mother felt when my sister and I were around to celebrate new year with them. It was unforgettable and priceless. #family #homesweethome
 5. Jessie Robredo's Death
Who will ever forget these dates,  August 18 (the plane crush), and August 21 (his body was found) that made the Filipinos cry and mourn. As his Kababayan, I'm deeply sad by Sec. Robredo's unexpected loss.
Thank you Sir Jessie for the great things you've done to Naga City and to our country. May your legacy lives on. #hero #gratitude #idol
4. Cebu-Bohol Summer Getaway
Last April, my friends and I spent our vacation in Cebu and Bohol. It was a blast!...swear:)). It's just so happy to be with friends on the road. #happiness #freedom #travel

Last April, the very first article I had written for "Earth Matters"(Official newsletter of Mother Earth Foundation) was published. It was a dream come true  for me. Thank you sir Froilan and MEF for making my dream come true. #justsoproud #dreamcometrue #writer

1. Habagat and Typhoon Pablo
These calamities were unforgettable to all of us. They left us painful memories and wounded hearts, some lost their love ones and lost their dreams. These made us realize many things--taking care of the environment, belief in God, love for the family. And in my own little way I helped them through my prayers.
a message I used in facebook and twitter account as a reminder to pray for the people affected by these calamities
