All Roads Lead Home for Christmas

Christmas is the time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, a time to put a smile in the children's  eyes by giving them gifts, a time to share blessings to the less fortunate, and of course a time to be home with our families.

Where are you this Christmas? I'm sure almost all of us will be at home...It's happy to see families celebrating together during this season. If only I can wish to Santa, I will wish abundant happiness and love to every family.

There are so many stories to tell about Christmas, some are sad, happy, meaningful and memorable. And sad stories make me cry...like those stories of the soldiers, OFW's, and prisoners who are away from home. I know it's very difficult and sad to celebrate Christmas without their family.

I hope no matter how far or how busy we are, let's remember our family...let's go HOME...it's the place where a true love lies, it's where our heart is:))

It's the best time to be home, your family is waiting for you...make them HAPPY:))

A Nightmare before Christmas

Who would ever imagine that typhoon Sendong would be that worst. It was such a tremendous nightmare to the people victimized. It breaks my heart every time I watch the news about the victims and it makes me cry. It was more than a horrible happening. I, myself can't believe it happened, imagine hundreds of people died...at the time of Christmas season?...How can they celebrate Christmas?..How can they cope up with the pain of loosing their loved ones?

It was such a good act for those who extended their help as early as they can, some gov't officials, celebrities, the rich families and other good samaritans. I hope all of us will extend our help, may it be a material thing or through prayers.

Let's help them, let's pray for them...

                                              "A Special Prayer"
Dear Lord,
I love you Lord. I know you're watching us right now, and you know how sad and depressed the people in Mindanao are. I'm here to ask for your guidance and help for all the people victimized by the typhoon Sendong. Please help them, provide their needs, heal the wounds in their hearts, give them courage to accept what happened, and help them ease their pain.
I may not help them through material thing, but you know I always talk to you and begging for help for them. I thank you Lord for always listening to all my prayers. I know you will never leave them specially in times like this.
Thank you Lord for all the blessings you've given us every single day.
              Amen.

Christmas Memories

                                     "Grown-up Christmas List"
I love this song!. It is meaningful and touching ,and it makes me sad sometimes. It brings back the happy and sad  memories of my childhood Christmases. When we were still kids my parents make us believe that there is Santa Claus and that he will give gifts to us. And true, I've always been receiving a gift (a doll) back then, given by Santa (according to them)....So my concept of Christmas then was  happy times, complete family, and gift giving.

When my father left us, celebrating Christmas was not that happy anymore...no more Santa Claus, no get-together...no more gifts... no happy moments... Though we still continue to celebrate Christmas, it's very different now. Celebrating it makes me sad knowing that we're not complete anymore.

Christmas is coming again,...I want to go home, I miss my family. I miss the simple life i used to have during Christmas. I miss my mother so much...Looking forward to celebrate Christmas with her:))

And if only I could turn back the time, I will include in my wish list to Santa another gift, not just a doll but  "A complete and happy family."
